An AI customer service agent that knows when to hand off.
Juno answers customers from your docs and your site, in the widget and on email. When she isn’t sure, she hands the conversation to your team and stays out of it. Free while Conversations is in beta.
Every day, the teams behind Tally, OpenPanel, Drizzle, SuperWhisper, Scite, Throne, Nuelink, Ghostbase, and hundreds of others talk with their customers in UserJot.
What an AI customer service agent is, and what Juno does.
An AI customer service agent is software that reads each customer message, answers the ones it can from your documentation, and passes the rest to a person. A support chatbot follows a script. An agent reads what you’ve published and decides, message by message, whether to answer, hand off, or stay quiet.
Juno is UserJot’s. She works in the chat widget inside your app and on the support email you forward to UserJot, answers only from the sites you point her at and the files you upload, and replies in the customer’s language. When a customer asks for a feature, she finds it on your feedback board and adds their vote. She’s free on every plan while Conversations is in beta.
Answers from your docs, not from the internet.
Point Juno at your help center, your docs site, or any page on your domain, and she crawls it: five hundred pages by default, up to two thousand. Upload the guides that aren’t online, in Markdown, text, HTML, JSON, or YAML, up to 10 MB each. A workspace holds five sources.
She also keeps a short description of your product, drafted from your site and edited by you, so she knows what you sell before she reads a question. What she won’t do is guess. If the answer isn’t in what you gave her, she says so and brings in your team.
Hands off when she isn’t sure, and stays out.
Juno hands a conversation to your team when the customer asks for a person, when she isn’t confident, when the answer isn’t in her sources, or when a message touches accounts, billing disputes, security, or privacy. On a longer question she tells the customer she’s checking first. Your team gets a push notification, an email two minutes later if nobody has opened it, and, if you’ve turned it on, a private summary of what was asked.
Once a teammate replies, the conversation is theirs. Juno doesn’t add a line after a human has, and she doesn’t take the thread back until someone hands it to her. There’s no working-hours switch: she answers at 3 a.m. and hands off at 3 a.m., and the customer hears that your team has been told.
Turns “any plans for this?” into a vote.
Support is where feature requests arrive, and where most of them get lost. When a customer asks whether you’ll build something, Juno searches your public feedback board and shows the matching request in the chat. If the customer says yes, she adds their vote, or subscribes them to it. If nothing matches, she drafts a new request and files it once they confirm. Nothing is created without a yes.
From there the request is on your board like any other, and when you mark it shipped, they get an email. Turn this off for the workspace and Juno goes back to answering questions only.
In your voice, in their language.
Choose how Juno sounds: warm, professional, direct, empathetic, or playful, or write your own; brief, balanced, detailed, or adaptive; formal or not; emoji or none. There’s no system prompt to write or keep up to date. She replies in whatever language the customer’s last message was in, so a German customer gets German and your team reads the thread in theirs.
On email she writes like email. Forward support@yourcompany.com to the address UserJot gives you, and each message becomes a conversation she answers in full sentences, with the same handoff rules.
What she does on her own, and what she never does.
Juno decides, message by message, whether to answer, hand off, or stay quiet. These are the rules she follows without a setting for each.
- Quiet on spam
- Spam, duplicates, empty messages, and automated mail get no reply from her.
- A note while she looks
- On a longer question, she tells the customer she’s checking before she answers.
- Stays out after your team
- Once a teammate replies, the thread is theirs until someone hands it back to her.
- Closes quiet threads
- After she answers and the customer goes quiet, she resolves the chat in 30 minutes and the email in 72 hours. Never after a human reply.
- Email, too
- Forwarded support email gets an answer from Juno, written as an email, with the same handoff rules.
- Off with one switch
- Turn Juno off and every new conversation goes to your team. The threads she already has stay hers.
“Instead of piecing together feedback from support, email, and social, we have one hub to collect feedback, gauge interest, and keep users updated.”
Corey Rabazinski, VP of Marketing, SciteHow to set up an AI customer service agent
Six steps from an empty workspace to Juno answering a customer. Teaching her is a crawl you start and leave.
The help center walks through each step, starting with teaching Juno your product.
Turn on Conversations.
In Settings, switch Conversations on. The widget gets a Messages page and your dashboard gets an inbox. It’s free on every plan while Conversations is in beta.Put her where customers write.
Add the widget to your app with one snippet, forward support@yourcompany.com to the address UserJot gives you, or both. Juno answers on either.Teach her.
Crawl your help center or docs site, up to 2,000 pages, and upload the guides that aren’t online: Markdown, text, HTML, JSON, or YAML, up to 10 MB each. A workspace holds five sources.Approve her product description.
She drafts a short description of what you sell from your site. Read it, fix what’s wrong, and she knows your product before she reads a question.Choose her voice.
Pick a tone, how long her replies run, how formal she is, and whether she uses emoji. That’s the whole configuration; there’s no system prompt to maintain.Ask her something hard.
Open the widget on your own site and ask a question your docs don’t answer. Watch her hand it to you, reply as a teammate, then hand it back. That’s the loop your customers will see.
