What is the UserJot MCP server?

A remote Model Context Protocol server at https://api.userjot.com/v1/mcp. Connect Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT desktop, or any client that supports remote MCP servers with a custom header, and your agent can work with your conversations, feature requests, roadmap, and changelog through 80 tools.

Do I need to install anything?

No. There is no local package, bridge process, or SDK. If your client supports remote MCP servers with a custom header, you connect it with the address and an API token.

Which clients work with it?

Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, ChatGPT, and Windsurf have setup guides. GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, Antigravity, OpenCode, OpenClaw, OpenAI Dots, Grok Bot, and any other client that supports remote HTTP MCP servers with a custom header work too, with the same address and token.

Can my agent answer customer conversations?

Yes. It can read new conversations and the customer’s history, reply in the thread, leave a private note, assign the conversation, and resolve it. Once your agent replies, Juno stays out of that conversation, the same as when a person on your team replies. To send every new conversation to your team and your agent, turn Juno off under Settings, Conversations, Juno.

Can an agent delete things?

Yes. A token can reach your whole workspace, so an agent can delete requests, comments, boards, and changelog posts. Give each agent its own token, try new workflows in a test workspace first, and have your agent leave changelog posts as drafts for you to publish.

Should I use MCP or the REST API?

Use MCP when you work through an AI client like Claude Code, Cursor, or ChatGPT desktop. Use the REST API when you’re writing your own backend integration and want full control over each request. They take the same tokens and do the same things.

Can my agent read the UserJot docs?

Yes. https://userjot.com/llms.txt indexes every public page, and https://userjot.com/llms-full.txt has the docs, help center, and guides as one Markdown file. Any docs or help page is also available as Markdown by adding .md to its URL.

Which plans include MCP?

Starter and Professional. The MCP server uses the same tokens as the REST API, so any plan with the API has MCP too.
