zipBoard is a review and approval tool for websites, PDFs, videos, and courses, sold to agencies and to construction and eLearning teams. If you came for the feedback board, these are the alternatives to zipBoard worth a look.
Public feedback board, roadmap, changelog, and live chat in one product, on your own domain from $29 and inside your app, with Juno, an AI operator who answers customers and drafts your changelog, and an MCP server for your own agents. Flat pricing, unlimited users, free plan.

Best for: Agencies and QA teams that want capture tools and a request portal from one vendor.
Feedback board, public roadmap, and changelog, priced by tracked users, with Jira, Linear, and Intercom integrations.
Best for: Teams that want a board with a long integration list and don't mind paying by the voter.
zipBoard, founded in 2015, sells visual review: comments and annotations on websites, PDFs, images, video, and SCORM courses, screen recording, task boards, and Jira and Wrike sync. It also has no free plan and a $99 floor, review links instead of a board, a custom domain and SSO sold by quote, and no way to talk to the person who left the comment.
Team: $99 a month for 20 content assets and one manager
zipBoard's Team plan is $99 a month for 20 content assets and one manager seat. A content asset is a file you upload or a website you add, and pages under one domain count as one. Each extra manager is $25 a month. Agency is $199 a month for 50 assets, with managers sold as add-ons. Its pricing page listed 100 assets and up to five managers as late as June 2026. There is no free plan.
No voting, public roadmap, or changelog documented
A zipBoard reviewer opens a share link, gives a name, and comments on or draws over the asset. The comment becomes a task on a board your team sees. zipBoard documents no way for a reviewer to vote on a request, and no public roadmap or customer-facing changelog. The guide for its embedded website widget carries a notice that its content is outdated. A Capterra reviewer in December 2023 wrote that "the bubbles hid other parts of the screen."
Custom domain, SSO, hidden internal comments: Enterprise, by quote
Putting review links on your own domain, logging your team in through SSO, and keeping internal comment threads out of a client's view are all Enterprise features, quoted by sales. zipBoard's FAQ describes a custom organization logo on Enterprise and doesn't document removing its own branding. Project reports and integrations are listed on Agency, at $199 a month, though zipBoard's Jira guide says Team can set it up.
No live chat for customers listed; the AI Review Assistant is 'coming soon'
zipBoard lists no live chat for your customers; its own support runs by email and chat. A comment becomes a task, and the conversation about it happens in replies and notification emails. Its AI suggests task types, statuses, and tags, and is off until you turn it on. The AI Review Assistant that would check grammar, visuals, and accessibility is marked coming soon on its site. Nothing in zipBoard answers a support question or carries a conversation with a customer.
UserJot is the board: a public feedback board at its own URL, on your own domain from $29, a roadmap with votes, a changelog, and a widget that puts all three inside your app. It adds live chat and support email in one inbox, Juno, an AI operator who answers customers first and drafts your changelog, and an MCP server for your own agents. It does not review PDFs, videos, or courses, and it doesn't record screens.
Every plan has unlimited users and posts, including Free, and the public board is on all of them. Paid plans start at $29 a month with a 14-day trial, and you're live in minutes.

Anyone can post a request and vote on the board, on Free. When you mark a request Planned or In Progress, it moves to that column on the public roadmap, votes attached. Every status change emails everyone who posted, voted, or commented. When you mark one Completed, the changelog post links back to it.
The changelog is on every plan, with no cap on posts, and has drafts, scheduling, and a cover image. On Starter and up, any board can be made private: a customer sees only their own requests, and your team sees all of them.
Planned
12Committed and queued
Mobile app
The whole web app on iPhone and Android, with push notifications when something needs you.
Export reports to CSV
Finance needs the monthly numbers in a spreadsheet. A one-click export from any report would save us an afternoon every month.
Zapier integration
We’d love to send new tasks to the rest of our tools without writing a script. A trigger for new tasks would cover most of it.
Custom fields on tasks
We track budget and client on every task. A couple of custom fields would replace the spreadsheet we keep next to Acme.
Two-factor sign-in
Our security review asks for it every year. An authenticator app option would be enough for us.
In Progress
4Actively being built
Dark mode
Late nights in Acme are hard on the eyes. A dark theme that follows the system setting would be perfect.
Bulk edit tasks
Changing the assignee on twenty tasks one at a time takes forever. Let me edit a whole selection at once.
Task templates
We set up the same onboarding checklist for every new client. Saving it once as a template would save us an hour each time.
Timeline view
Seeing tasks on a timeline would make it much easier to plan around deadlines and spot overlaps.
Done
9Recently shipped
Google Calendar sync
Due dates should show up on my calendar without copying them over one by one.
Slack alerts for due tasks
A message in our team channel the morning a task is due would stop things from slipping.
Search freezes in big workspaces
With a few thousand tasks, typing in search locks the page for a second or two.
Keyboard shortcuts
Creating and moving tasks without the mouse would make Acme so much faster to use all day.
Conversations adds a Messages page to the widget that already shows your board, roadmap, and changelog. Customers chat with you from inside your product, and your team answers from the dashboard where it already triages requests. Forward your support address and email lands in the same inbox, with no DNS changes.
When a customer describes a feature in chat, Juno finds the matching request on your board and shows it to them. Once they confirm, she files it or adds their vote. Conversations is in beta and free on every plan while it is.
Juno is the AI operator built into UserJot. In the inbox, she answers new conversations first, in the customer's language, from your docs and the sites you point her at, and hands the thread to your team when a person is needed.
In the changelog editor, Juno reads the requests you completed since the last post and writes the draft, with the title, tags, and linked requests filled in. She never publishes. The board itself checks for duplicates as people type, and five versions of the same request don't pile up.
Your agent can read requests, file and vote on them, move them along the roadmap, draft changelog posts, and answer conversations. Ask your coding agent what customers have asked for in the area you're working on, or have it mark the request shipped and draft the changelog entry when the work merges.
It comes with the API on Starter and Professional. zipBoard documents no MCP server.

From $99 a month, before the Enterprise plan. Team is $99 a month for 20 content assets, 1 GB of storage, and one manager; each extra manager is $25 a month. Agency is $199 a month for 50 assets, with managers as add-ons. Enterprise is quoted by sales. Annual billing saves 16.6% by zipBoard's FAQ, which publishes no exact annual price. The same FAQ lists volume bands up to $1,299 a month for 151 to 350 assets, and custom pricing above that.
Give them one place to ask, and give your team and your agents one place to answer.
