Plan work

Your roadmap updates automatically from request status. You do not need to add items to it manually. As requests move through your workflow, they appear in the right roadmap phase for users to follow.

Enable the public roadmap

  1. Open Settings in your workspace, then go to Feedback.
  2. Under Behavior, find Public roadmap.
  3. Turn it on to show the roadmap tab on your public board.
  4. Move requests into the right statuses as you review and plan work.

This toggle only controls the public board. Your internal roadmap in the dashboard stays available either way.

How public roadmap columns map to statuses

The public roadmap has three columns:

  • Planned shows requests marked Planned.
  • In Progress shows requests marked In Progress.
  • Done shows requests marked Completed.

That means the roadmap is really a public view of your workflow. If you want a request to move from planning into active work, change its status.

What does not appear on the public roadmap

Requests marked Pending, Reviewing, or Closed do not appear on the public roadmap. Completed work stays visible in the Done column, so users can see what recently shipped.

The dashboard roadmap

Your workspace also has an internal Roadmap page in the dashboard sidebar. It shows every status as its own column, from Pending through Closed, and you can drag a request between columns to change its status. It is always available to your team, even when the public roadmap is turned off.
