Getting Started
UserJot helps product teams manage feedback, roadmaps, and changelogs in one place. The goal is simple: give users one place to share ideas, give your team one place to manage them, and keep everyone updated as work moves from request to roadmap to changelog.
-
Create your workspace. Sign up at app.userjot.com and create your workspace. UserJot gives you a starting point right away, so you do not need to configure your full setup before you begin.
-
Choose how people will send feedback. The fastest option is to share your board link. If you want feedback to live inside your product, you can add the widget later. For most teams, the right move is to start with one public board, share it, and improve the setup once real feedback starts coming in.
-
Start collecting feedback. Ask users to post feature requests, bugs, and product ideas in one place instead of spreading them across email, chat, and support threads. As feedback comes in, you will start seeing which requests repeat, which ideas get votes, and where users need the most help.
-
Triage requests. Review new posts regularly, merge duplicates, add tags, and move the most important requests forward. You do not need a perfect process on day one. What matters is building a habit: collect feedback, clean it up, and make status visible.
-
Plan work and build your roadmap. When a request is marked Planned or In Progress, it appears on your roadmap automatically. This gives users a clear view of what you expect to deliver and what is already underway.
-
Publish updates for completed work. When work is complete, publish an update so users can see what changed. This closes the loop and gives completed requests a clear public outcome.
