Localization

UserJot supports multiple languages across public boards, roadmap pages, and changelogs, and that list continues to grow. By default, public pages use Auto-detect, which means UserJot tries to match the visitor's browser language.

When your workspace is set to Auto-detect, signed-in users can also change the language themselves from their account menu on the public page. That is usually the best option when your audience is spread across multiple countries or languages.

Set a fixed language

  1. Open Settings in your workspace, then go to Branding.

  2. Under Public board, find the Language setting.

  3. Leave it on Auto-detect if you want UserJot to choose the language automatically for each visitor.

  4. Select a specific language if you want all public pages in your workspace to stay in the same language for every visitor. The change applies immediately, so there is no separate save step.

When to use auto-detect

Use Auto-detect when your audience is international or when you want users to choose the language that feels best for them. This keeps the public experience more flexible and lets the language menu stay available.

When to use a fixed language

Use a fixed language when you want a more controlled public experience. This is useful if your workspace is meant for one market, one region, or one language only. When you choose a fixed language, all visitors see the same language on your public pages.
