Auto-tag feedback
Auto-tagging helps you organize feedback faster by using AI to choose the most relevant tags for a request. It works best when you already have a small, clear set of feedback tags that represent the categories your team actually uses.
-
Create your feedback tags first. Auto-tagging does not create tags for you. It only selects from the feedback tags that already exist in your workspace. To create them, open Settings, go to Feedback, and use the New tag button in the Tags section.
-
Use clear tag names. Tags work best when they describe stable categories, not one-off ideas. Good examples include
Bug,Feature Request,Performance,Billing,API, orUI. Try not to create several tags that mean almost the same thing, because that gives AI weak choices and makes filtering less useful later. -
Run auto-tagging on a request. Open a request, then click the Auto-tag sparkle action next to the tag pills at the bottom of the request. You can also run Auto tag from the Tags menu when you right-click a row in the requests list.
-
Review the result. Auto-tagging looks at the request title and body, then selects the most relevant existing tags. It can apply up to three tags, and in some cases it may return none if none of the available tags are a strong fit.
-
Adjust tags when needed. Auto-tagging is meant to speed up triage, not replace judgment. If a request needs a different tag set, you can still add or remove tags manually from the same request.
If you change your tag system later, rerun auto-tagging on older requests that you want to clean up. Re-running replaces the full tag set on that request, including tags you added by hand. UserJot matches against your current available tags, so better tags usually lead to better results.
Keep your tag system simple. A short list of clear tags usually performs better than a long list of overlapping categories.
