What UserJot is opinionated about

Four things that shape every decision.

Feedback work is craft. The tool should feel like one. These are the four commitments that shape every decision, and together they make UserJot feel lighter to run than any other product in the category.

See how we think about pricing
  • Focused, not bloated

Feedback, roadmap, and changelog. Nothing else. That restraint is what lets every surface feel considered and every flow feel fast.

  • Designed end to end

Portal, widget, dashboard, emails, mobile. Every touchpoint drawn by the same hand, with the same standards. The product looks current for your team and for the people it reaches.

  • Free to start, priced by features

A free plan that works for real teams, not a two-week demo. Paid plans scale with what the product does, never with how many teammates you add.

  • Every user, every plan

No seat math. Invite paying customers, prospects, the support team, the whole Slack. The price stays the same on day one and on day one thousand.

UserJot has noticeably improved our product process. Instead of piecing together feedback from support, email, and social, we have one hub to collect feedback, gauge interest, and keep users updated on improvements. It's helped us move faster and focus on things customers actually want.

Customer feedback platform

The customer feedback platform where users vote on what ships next.

UserJot brings every customer request into one place, ranks it by the users who want it most, and turns the loop from submission to shipped feature into something your users can watch happen. Feedback, roadmap, and changelog, in one tool.

  • Ranked feedback board

Every request lands in one ranked board instead of getting buried across email, Slack, and support threads.

  • AI duplicate detection

AI surfaces similar requests as users type so votes land on one canonical post instead of splitting across duplicates.

  • In-app widget

Embed feedback collection directly inside your product so users can submit ideas without leaving the page.

  • Status-change emails

When a request moves to Review, Planned, or In Progress, every voter gets the update automatically.

  • Weekly digest

Top new requests worth voting on arrive in a weekly email that pulls users back into the board.

  • Closed-loop updates

The moment a feature ships, voters hear about it through the changelog and the feedback loop closes itself.

Triage

A triage flow built to get you to inbox zero.

Rapidr lets you build custom statuses and move posts between them. UserJot adds a context-aware action bar that shows only the actions that move each item forward. Triage becomes something you finish, not something you dread.

  • Actions that fit the moment

Every item shows only the moves that apply at its stage. No generic status dropdown to interpret.

  • Guardrails built in

Soft limits nudge you toward a focused roadmap and work-in-progress you can actually finish.

  • Stale and ghost detection

Old items resurface on their own. You keep them, refresh them, or close them.

  • Auto-advance, like an inbox

After any action, the next item loads. Triage takes minutes, not afternoons.

How we think about pricing

Your team should not be a line item.

Rapidr charges for each teammate you add. UserJot does not. It sounds like a small distinction. In practice, it shapes how the whole system feels to operate.

Good feedback work touches every role. Engineering wants the signal . Support wants the context. Product makes the call. Leadership watches the compound effect. When pricing charges for each of those seats, the quiet pressure is to keep people out.

Per-seat pricing narrows the loop by the shape of the invoice. The support agent keeps the ticket in the help desk . The designer stays in Figma. The founder opens the dashboard once a quarter. Each of those is a small tax on how fast your product gets better.

UserJot is priced by what the product does, not by who uses it. Add the whole team. Add the next hire the day they start. Add the agency helping you out for a month . The price does not move. The loop widens on its own, and a wider loop is the actual product.

By the numbers

Three numbers worth knowing.

What UserJot costs on day one, how fast a Rapidr migration runs, and how long it takes to go from signup to a live board.

  • $0

    Free forever, unlimited users

Two boards, public roadmap, public changelog, every teammate you want. Rapidr has no free tier, only a 14-day trial.

  • a few min

    Rapidr migration, end to end

Export CSV from Rapidr, confirm the AI column mapping, and publish. Most teams finish the whole move in a single sitting.

  • 30 sec

    Signup to a live board

Pick a workspace name. Share the link. No configuration sits between you and the first piece of feedback.

Side by side

UserJot vs Rapidr, feature by feature.

A feature-by-feature read of where the two products diverge. Pricing structure is the loudest difference, but design, triage, and API access end up mattering just as much.

Closing the loop

The last mile of feedback, automated.

Shipping is where most feedback tools end. It is where UserJot's work is most useful. The blank page stays closed, and the right people hear first.

AI drafts the changelog from the feedback itself.

Move a Post to Completed and UserJot writes the announcement from the original request and the discussion around it. In your voice, ready to review. No one opens an empty doc on a Friday afternoon.

Voters hear first

Everyone who voted or commented gets an email the moment you publish. The list is built for you.

Scheduled updates

Queue announcements for when your users are awake. A weekly digest gently re-engages the quieter ones.

Product changelog software

Changelog software with AI that writes, schedules, and notifies for you.

AI changelog software that writes updates from your shipped features, schedules posts, and auto-notifies users who requested them. The in-app widget helps users discover every release the moment you publish.

  • AI writes complete changelogs

Tell the AI to write a changelog from closed feedback and it drafts the post, title, and tags in your voice.

  • Automatic user notifications

When you publish, users who voted on those features get an email automatically. No manual list management.

  • In-app widget

Users can read the latest changelog without leaving your product.

  • Update indicator

A small badge appears the moment a new changelog lands, so users never miss what shipped.

  • Link to feedback

Every update links back to the original feature requests and the customers who asked for them.

  • Schedule posts

Ask the AI to schedule for Monday at 2pm, or let it pick the right time for your audience.

“Our strategy is to stay close to our users and obsess over quality. UserJot makes that easy: one place to listen, build what users want, and keep the feedback loop short.”

Filip MinevCofounder, Tally

“UserJot has noticeably improved our product process. Instead of piecing together feedback from support, email, and social, we have one hub to collect feedback, gauge interest, and keep users updated on improvements. It's helped us move faster and focus on things customers actually want.”

Corey RabazinskiVP of Marketing, Scite

“We set up UserJot and our users actually started leaving feedback. Clean, simple, and we finally know what to build next.”

Carl LindesvärdFounder, OpenPanel

“Ever since we added UserJot, the most common thing users mention in reviews is that we actually listen. It's helped us build a loyal community of users who feel like they're shaping the app with us.”

Igor AmidzicFounder, Kualia

“We'd been looking for a feedback board for some time. Every app we found was either bloated or expensive. Userjot hits the sweet spot! The UI is next-level, and the pace of improvement has been amazing!”

Migration

A few minutes to move your Rapidr data.

Every comparison page promises easy migration. Ours is short because we built an AI-assisted CSV importer, not a manual copy job. Posts, votes, comments, and statuses come across intact.

  1. Export your Rapidr data

Rapidr exports feedback to CSV from the admin settings. A minute to find, a click to download. No special access required.

  2. Paste it into UserJot

Our importer reads your posts, votes, comments, and statuses. AI proposes the column and status mapping. You confirm it in a single pass.

  3. Point your links at the new home

Update your feedback link, add redirects if you had a Rapidr custom domain, and you are live. Most teams switch over a weekend with no downtime.

If anything in your Rapidr setup is unusual, reach out. We will run the migration with you and make sure nothing is lost in the move.

Questions

The ones that come up before teams switch.

Pricing math, migration, the triage system, integrations, and how the two products differ in shape. Answered plainly.

  • Two differences. First, how pricing scales: UserJot is flat with unlimited users on every plan. Rapidr scales with team members (5 for $49, 50 for $199, unlimited only on Enterprise), so your bill grows as you invite more of your team into the loop. Second, the free tier: UserJot has a free plan that works indefinitely. Rapidr has a 14-day trial. Both products share roughly the same scope. They just optimize for different kinds of teams.

  • Rapidr Startup is $49 per month for 5 team members. Rapidr Business is $199 per month for 50 team members. Beyond 50 you are into Enterprise pricing. UserJot stays flat. Free for unlimited users. Starter at $29 per month for unlimited users. Professional at $59 per month for unlimited users. The point is not only that we are cheaper, though we are. It is that pricing should reward you for inviting more teammates into the loop, not charge you for it.

  • Yes. Unlimited users, two boards, public roadmap, public changelog, AI duplicate detection, guest posting. No time limit, no credit card. Rapidr offers a 14-day trial, which gives small teams a deadline rather than a home. Our view is that feedback tools should be easy to adopt and easy to stay on.

  • Anyone inside your workspace: admins, product managers, designers, engineers, support. End users who vote and comment are not seats, but everyone on your side of the loop is. Once a seat limit is hit, the next teammate either pays up or stays out. UserJot does not count seats at any tier. Add the whole product team, the whole support team, and the founder who likes to lurk. The price does not move.

  • Yes. Export your boards, posts, votes, and comments from Rapidr as CSV, paste into UserJot, and the importer maps columns with AI. You review the mapping once and confirm. Most migrations finish in a few minutes. For anything unusual, reach out and we will run it with you.

  • Rapidr lets you build your own statuses and move posts between them. UserJot adds a context-aware action bar to every detail view that shows only the actions that fit the current phase. New submissions show Close, Merge, Accept, Skip. Items under review show Close and Mark Planned. Completed items show Draft Changelog. After any action, the next item auto-advances, so triage flows like inbox zero. Stale and ghost items surface automatically after sixty days of inactivity. The system has opinions, and it shares them with you.

  • UserJot integrates with Slack, Linear, Discord, webhooks, a REST API, and an MCP server for AI agents. Rapidr has native integrations with Slack, Intercom, Jira, HubSpot, and Zapier. If Intercom or HubSpot sync is load-bearing for you, Rapidr has the tighter native story there today. If you want agents like Claude or Cursor to triage feedback and draft changelogs for you, only UserJot has that.

  • UserJot includes API access from the Starter plan at $29 per month. Rapidr restricts API access to Enterprise with custom pricing. Our view is that developers should not need an enterprise contract to integrate a feedback tool.

  • Yes, on Starter ($29 per month) and above. Your board lives at feedback.yourcompany.com or any subdomain, with full branding control. Rapidr also offers custom domains on Startup, but the bill grows as your team grows.

  • Professional ($59 per month) includes SAML SSO. Automatic Login (a JWT-based SSO-lite flow) is available on Starter and Professional for in-app identification. Rapidr places SAML and JWT SSO on the Business plan at $199 per month.

  • It is part of the same system as feedback and roadmap. When you move a Post to Completed, UserJot drafts the changelog announcement from the original request and the conversation around it, in your voice, ready to review. Publishing notifies every voter and commenter automatically, and pulses a new-update indicator in the in-app widget. Rapidr has a changelog, but writing is on you.

  • Thirty seconds from signup to a live board. Pick a workspace name, share the link. Rapidr advertises around fifteen minutes, which is honest for an all-in-one but not zero. If you are importing from Rapidr, add another few minutes on top.
