Where Upvoty falls short.
Upvoty has sold feedback boards since 2019, now flat-priced with unlimited tracked users, a public roadmap, and a widget that takes bug reports with screenshots. It also has no free plan, a changelog on one paid tier and an API on the one above it, a price list that has changed three times since late 2023, and no way to talk to the customer behind the vote.
You pay after the trial
14-day trial, then Power at $15 a month with Upvoty branding
Upvoty has no free plan. The 14-day trial needs no card, and when it ends the cheapest plan is Power at $15 a month, or $13.50 billed yearly. Power keeps Upvoty branding on your board; removing it is Super, at $25. Subscriptions renew automatically, and Upvoty's terms say fees are non-refundable except where the law requires it.
The basics are spread across the plans
Changelog on Super ($25); API, webhooks, and MCP on Hyper ($49)
Power has the board and the roadmap. The changelog, all integrations, and branding removal arrive on Super at $25. API access, webhooks, the MCP server, and custom SSO are Hyper at $49, which is also the only self-serve plan with more than one project. A team that wants a board, a changelog, and an API is on the $49 plan.
The pricing keeps moving
Three price changes since late 2023; G2 reviewer, February 2026: “without notice”
Upvoty's top plan went from $99 to $119 during 2024, back to $99 under a new name and with unlimited users by May 2025, then to $49 by October 2025, with the middle plan dropping from $49 to $25 at the same time. A G2 reviewer in February 2026 wrote that the price changed “without notice.” The dated history is in the FAQ below.
It stops at the board
No live chat listed; AI merges duplicates and suggests tags
Upvoty lists no live chat among its features. Its Intercom integration turns chats into feedback posts and sends status notes back into the conversation. Its AI is Merge AI, which finds duplicate posts and merges them, and smart tags, which suggest tags for incoming feedback. Your own agents get an MCP server on Hyper, at $49. Upvoty lists no AI that answers a customer.

Customers sign in and post a request or vote on the board; from Starter they can do it without an account. When you mark a request Planned or In Progress, it moves to that column on the public roadmap, votes attached. Every status change emails everyone who posted, voted, or commented. When you mark one Completed, the changelog post links back to it.
Starter, at $29, adds guest posting, moderation, private boards, a custom domain, and the API and MCP server. Professional, at $59, removes the UserJot badge and adds single sign-on.

Conversations adds a Messages page to the same widget that shows your board, roadmap, and changelog. Customers chat with you from inside your product, and your team answers from the dashboard where it already triages requests. Forward your support address and email lands in the same inbox, with no DNS changes.
When a customer describes a feature in chat, Juno finds the matching request on your board and shows it to them. Once they confirm, she files it or adds their vote, and the ask doesn't end in a transcript. Conversations is in beta and free on every plan while it is.
One AI, across the whole product.
Juno is the AI operator built into UserJot. In the inbox, she answers new conversations first, in the customer's language, from your docs and the sites you point her at, and hands the thread to your team when a person is needed. The inbox translates incoming messages into your language, and you can translate your reply before it goes out.
In the changelog editor, Juno reads the requests you completed since the last post and writes the draft, with the title, tags, and linked requests filled in. She never publishes. The board itself checks for duplicates as people type.
