Top monday.com alternatives for customer feedback

monday.com is a work platform, and some teams track feature requests on its boards. If you want customers to see, vote on, and hear back about those requests, these are the alternatives to monday.com worth a look.

  1. A public board where customers post and vote, a roadmap, a changelog, and a support inbox with Juno, an AI operator, on your own domain and inside your app. Flat pricing, no seats to count.

Best for: SaaS teams that want customers posting and voting in public, and a support inbox beside the board, at a price that doesn't move when the team grows.

  2. Feedback, prioritization, and roadmaps for product teams, priced per maker seat. Closer to monday dev than any feedback board.

Best for: Product teams that want planning and feedback in one tool and don't need a public board.

  3. Idea prioritization inside Jira, priced per creator. Ideas live beside the tickets they become.

Best for: Teams already planning in Jira who want ideas scored next to delivery work.

  4. The Aha! suite's idea portal, where customers post and vote on ideas that feed Aha! Roadmaps.

Best for: Teams already planning in Aha!.

  5. A feedback board with voting, a roadmap, and a changelog, priced by tracked users, with Jira, Linear, and Intercom connectors.

Best for: Teams that want requests pulled out of support tools and into Jira.

  6. Nolt

The simplest board on this list: voting, comments, a roadmap, and a changelog, and not much else.

Best for: Teams that want a clean board set up in an hour.

Where monday.com falls short.

monday.com runs project work for about 250,000 customers, and some of them track feature requests on its boards. It also has a public board customers can look at but not use, a price that comes in buckets of seats, no changelog on offer, and no way to talk to the customer, and a door that's hard to close.

Your customers can look, but not participate

Public views: read only, comments left out

A monday board can be published as a public view, and that view is read only. Visitors see items and columns, and the Updates where your team discusses them are left out. The Vote column counts votes from team members and board subscribers, and no public voting is documented. A WorkForm collects submissions into a board the person who submitted one doesn't see, and a status email back to them is documented only on dev Pro and in monday service. monday's own help warns that items filtered out of a public view may still be reachable by technically skilled visitors.

What UserJot does instead.

UserJot is built for the part monday.com leaves to a form and a board view: a public board where customers post, vote, and comment, a roadmap with votes, a changelog, and a widget that puts all three inside your app. It adds live chat and support email in one inbox, Juno, an AI operator who answers customers first and drafts your changelog, and an MCP server for your own agents. The board, the widget, the dashboard, and the emails share one look, and dark mode follows the reader's system.

Every plan has unlimited users, and paid plans have no seat charge, so the eleventh teammate costs nothing. Paid plans start at $29 a month with a 14-day trial, and you're live in minutes.

A board your customers can use.

Your board lives at its own URL, where anyone can browse, post, vote, and comment. Duplicate detection runs as people type, and five versions of the same request don't pile up. On Starter and up, people take part without creating an account, and moderation holds new posts until you approve them. Any board can be made private, so a customer sees only their own requests and your team sees all of them.

The widget brings the same board into your app: Home, Feedback, Roadmap, Updates, Notifications, and, with Conversations on, Messages, in one panel. Identify a user once and their posts, votes, and messages in the widget are attributed to them. On Starter and up, that identity carries onto the board.

UserJot public roadmap with vote counts on each request.

    Zapier integration

We’d love to send new tasks to the rest of our tools without writing a script. A trigger for new tasks would cover most of it.

    Custom fields on tasks

We track budget and client on every task. A couple of custom fields would replace the spreadsheet we keep next to Acme.

From request to roadmap to changelog.

When you mark a request Planned or In Progress, it moves to that column on the public roadmap, votes attached. Every status change emails everyone who posted, voted, or commented. When you mark one Completed, the changelog post links back to it, and the widget shows the new post to people inside your app.

Conversations adds Messages to the same widget. Customers chat with you from inside your product, and your team answers from the dashboard where it already triages requests. Forward your support address and email lands in the same inbox, with no DNS changes. Conversations is in beta and free on every plan while it is.

The UserJot inbox: a customer asks about a mobile app, and Juno finds the request on the board, adds the customer's vote, and resolves the conversation.

One AI, across the whole product.

Juno is the AI operator built into UserJot. In the inbox, she answers new conversations first, in the customer's language, from your docs and the sites you point her at, and hands the thread to your team when a person is needed. When a customer describes a feature in chat, she finds the matching request on your board and shows it to them. Once they confirm, she files it or adds their vote.

In the changelog editor, Juno reads the requests you completed since the last post and writes the draft, with the title, tags, and linked requests filled in. She never publishes. There are no credits to buy or watch.

The UserJot widget open on the right side of a customer's web app.

We were charged twice this month, can you help?
4:07 PM
Sorry about that! Refunds need a teammate, so I'm bringing one in now.

Juno handed this conversation to the team
Hi, Sara here. Just refunded the duplicate charge, you'll see it back in a few business days.

An MCP server your agents can use today.

Your agent can read requests, file and vote on them, move them along the roadmap, draft changelog posts, and answer conversations. Ask your coding agent what customers have asked for in the area you're working on, or have it mark the request shipped and draft the changelog entry when the work merges.

It comes with the API on Starter and Professional. monday.com's MCP server is preinstalled on accounts and draws on the plan's daily API call limit.

Switching from monday.com to UserJot.

Export the board that holds your requests to Excel, save it as CSV, and import it. AI maps the columns, and you check the mapping before anything is written.

If your data doesn't fit the CSV path, email support@userjot.com and we'll migrate it with you.

  1. Export the board from monday.com.

Open the board's menu and export to Excel, with Updates included if you want the discussion. Save the sheet as CSV.
  2. Import into UserJot.

Upload the CSV. AI maps titles, descriptions, votes, authors, statuses, and dates to UserJot's fields; check the mapping, confirm, done.

    Import from CSV →

  3. Put the board where customers already are.

Add the widget to your app, and on Starter or above, put the board on your own domain, like feedback.yourcompany.com.

    Custom domain →

  4. Then cancel the monday.com product you no longer need.

Each product has its own subscription under Administration, Billing. On an annual plan, cancel renewal at least 30 days before the term ends. Export first, since monday makes no promise about how long closed-account data stays.
