What UserJot is opinionated about

Four things that shape every decision.

Feedback work is craft. The tool should feel like one. These are the four commitments that shape every call, and together they make the difference between simple and basic.

See how we think about pricing
  • A free plan, not a countdown

Small teams get a real place to start, not fourteen days and a credit-card form at the end. The free tier is the tier, not a sales funnel.

  • Priced for the product, not the team

Every paid plan includes unlimited admins. Adding a teammate should not move the bill. The invoice reflects the shape of the product, not the shape of the org chart.

  • Designed end to end

Portal, widget, dashboard, emails, mobile. Every touchpoint drawn by the same hand, with the same standards. The product looks current for your team and for the people it reaches.

  • Simple, not basic

Simplicity is restraint on behalf of the user, not a shortcut for the builder. Every surface is decided. Nothing is missing because nobody built it.

We set up UserJot and our users actually started leaving feedback. Clean, simple, and we finally know what to build next.

Customer feedback platform

The customer feedback platform where users vote on what ships next.

UserJot brings every customer request into one place, ranks it by the users who want it most, and turns the loop from submission to shipped feature into something your users can watch happen. Feedback, roadmap, and changelog, in one tool.

  • Ranked feedback board

Every request lands in one ranked board instead of getting buried across email, Slack, and support threads.

  • AI duplicate detection

AI surfaces similar requests as users type so votes land on one canonical post instead of splitting across duplicates.

  • In-app widget

Embed feedback collection directly inside your product so users can submit ideas without leaving the page.

  • Status-change emails

When a request moves to Review, Planned, or In Progress, every voter gets the update automatically.

  • Weekly digest

Top new requests worth voting on arrive in a weekly email that pulls users back into the board.

  • Closed-loop updates

The moment a feature ships, voters hear about it through the changelog and the feedback loop closes itself.

Triage

A triage flow built to get you to inbox zero.

Most tools give you a status dropdown and hope you use it. UserJot gives you a context-aware action bar that shows only the moves that fit the current phase. Triage becomes something you finish, not something you avoid.

  • Actions that fit the moment

Every item shows only the moves that apply at its stage. No generic dropdown to interpret.

  • Guardrails on the roadmap

Soft limits nudge you toward a focused plan you can actually finish. Twenty planned items, five in progress.

  • Stale and ghost detection

Old items resurface on their own after sixty days. You keep them, refresh them, or close them.

  • Auto-advance, like an inbox

Finishing one item loads the next. Triage takes minutes, not afternoons.

How we think about pricing

We charge for the product, not for the people using it.

The sticker price is not the number that matters. The number that matters is what you pay when the team grows by one.

Feedbear's starting price is friendly. Nineteen dollars a month for Lite, hard to argue with . The sticker covers one admin and one board, which is exactly the shape of a solo founder on day one.

The shape changes at the second teammate. A second admin moves the bill to $49 per month. A fourth moves it to $99. Unlimited admins is the Enterprise plan at $299 . The team, not the product, decides the price.

UserJot charges for what the product does, not for who is allowed to use it. Starter is $29 per month with unlimited team members. Professional is $59. Bringing on the fifth teammate should not prompt a conversation about the feedback tool . Grow the team, keep the price.

By the numbers

Three numbers worth knowing.

What UserJot costs on day one, what a four-person team pays, and how long it takes to go from signup to a live board.

  • $0

    Free forever, unlimited users

Two boards, public roadmap, public changelog, every user you want. Feedbear is trial-only, then $19 per month minimum.

  • $29

    Starter with unlimited team

Custom domain, guest posting, one integration, and every teammate you need. A four-person team on Feedbear starts at $99 per month.

  • 30 sec

Pick a workspace name. Share the link. No configuration sits between you and the first piece of feedback.

Side by side

UserJot vs Feedbear, feature by feature.

A feature-by-feature read of where the two products diverge. Access and team-size pricing are the loudest differences, but design, triage, and AI depth end up mattering just as much.

Closing the loop

The last mile of feedback, automated.

Shipping is where most feedback tools end. It is where UserJot's work is most useful. The blank page stays closed, and the right people hear first.

AI drafts the changelog from the feedback itself.

Move a Post to Completed and UserJot writes the announcement from the original request and the discussion around it. In your voice, ready to review. Publishing emails every voter and commenter, updates the roadmap, and pulses the in-app widget.

Voters hear first

Everyone who voted or commented gets an email the moment you publish. The list is built for you.

Scheduled updates

Queue announcements for when your users are awake. A weekly digest gently re-engages the quieter ones.

Product changelog software

Changelog software with AI that writes, schedules, and notifies for you.

AI changelog software that writes updates from your shipped features, schedules posts, and auto-notifies users who requested them. The in-app widget helps users discover every release the moment you publish.

  • AI writes complete changelogs

Tell the AI to write a changelog from closed feedback and it drafts the post, title, and tags in your voice.

  • Automatic user notifications

When you publish, users who voted on those features get an email automatically. No manual list management.

  • In-app widget

Users can read the latest changelog without leaving your product.

  • Update indicator

A small badge appears the moment a new changelog lands, so users never miss what shipped.

  • Link to feedback

Every update links back to the original feature requests and the customers who asked for them.

  • Schedule posts

Ask the AI to schedule for Monday at 2pm, or let it pick the right time for your audience.

“Our strategy is to stay close to our users and obsess over quality. UserJot makes that easy: one place to listen, build what users want, and keep the feedback loop short.”

Filip MinevCofounder, Tally

“UserJot has noticeably improved our product process. Instead of piecing together feedback from support, email, and social, we have one hub to collect feedback, gauge interest, and keep users updated on improvements. It's helped us move faster and focus on things customers actually want.”

Corey RabazinskiVP of Marketing, Scite

“We set up UserJot and our users actually started leaving feedback. Clean, simple, and we finally know what to build next.”

Carl LindesvärdFounder, OpenPanel

“Ever since we added UserJot, the most common thing users mention in reviews is that we actually listen. It's helped us build a loyal community of users who feel like they're shaping the app with us.”

Igor AmidzicFounder, Kualia

“We'd been looking for a feedback board for some time. Every app we found was either bloated or expensive. Userjot hits the sweet spot! The UI is next-level, and the pace of improvement has been amazing!”

Migration

Moving from Feedbear, with help from our end.

Feedbear exports to CSV. We handle the rest. Most workspaces finish the move within an afternoon, and posts, votes, comments, and statuses come across intact.

  1. Export your Feedbear data

Use Feedbear's CSV export to pull your posts, votes, comments, and statuses. One download, no pre-work required.

  2. Upload into UserJot

Our importer handles the mapping. AI proposes the layout for boards and statuses, and you confirm it in one pass. Users come across with their history.

  3. Point your links at the new home

Update your feedback link, add redirects from any Feedbear subdomain, and you are live. Most teams switch over a weekend with no downtime.

If your Feedbear setup has anything unusual (custom CSS, private projects, heavy integration wiring), reach out. We will run the migration with you and make sure nothing is lost.

Pricing

Pricing that does not punish adoption.

Questions

The ones that come up before teams switch.

Pricing math at real team sizes, migration, AI scope, and how the two products differ in shape. Answered plainly.

  • Two real differences. First, access: UserJot has a free plan that does not expire, while Feedbear is trial-only. Second, pricing shape: UserJot charges for the product, so every paid plan includes unlimited team members. Feedbear's tiers are capped by team size. One admin on Lite, three on Startup, ten on Business, and unlimited only on Enterprise at $299 per month. Both products are reasonable. They just optimize for different kinds of teams.

  • Feedbear Lite is $19 per month for one admin. Startup is $49 for three admins. Business is $99 for ten. Unlimited team members sits on Enterprise at $299 per month. UserJot stays flat: Starter is $29 per month and Professional is $59 per month, both with unlimited team members and unlimited users. At two admins, UserJot is already cheaper. At four, the gap widens. At ten, UserJot is roughly a third of the cost. The point is not only that we are cheaper at scale, though we often are. It is that pricing should follow the product you pick, not the people you add.

  • A feedback tool's job is to make it easy for users to speak up. Barriers to starting work against that job. The free plan is the real tier, not a preview. Unlimited users, two boards, a public roadmap, and a public changelog. Many teams stay on it for months. It is what you use when you want to test whether a feedback loop changes your team, before anyone has to justify a line item.

  • Yes. Feedbear offers a CSV export covering posts, votes, comments, and statuses. Our importer handles the mapping: AI proposes the layout for boards and statuses, and you confirm it in one pass. Smaller workspaces finish the move within an afternoon. For larger libraries or unusual setups, reach out and we will run the migration with you.

  • Feedbear's AI drafts comments and changelog posts. UserJot's AI does that too, and it also detects duplicates as users type, categorizes submissions automatically, and powers vector search across your whole feedback history. We additionally expose an MCP server that lets Claude, Cursor, or any other AI agent triage feedback, update the roadmap, and draft changelogs on your behalf. Both products use AI. We invest in the layer that shapes the whole feedback loop, not only the layer that writes copy.

  • Yes. Setup is about thirty seconds. Pick a workspace name, share the link, take the first piece of feedback. The interface is spare because every surface is decided, not because nothing was built. Simplicity is the goal here too. It just gets there by subtraction after careful design, rather than by leaving the dashboard at its 2018 shape.

  • There are no team-member limits on any paid plan. Starter, Professional, and the Free plan all include unlimited admins. What scales instead is the shape of the product: custom domains, number of boards, integrations, SSO. Adding a teammate never changes the invoice.

  • The public board and the widget are mobile-first, meaning the phone layout is a first-class design rather than a responsive afterthought. Most feedback is written by people reading from their phones. The surface they land on decides whether they submit anything.

  • Yes, from Starter at $29 per month. Your board lives at feedback.yourcompany.com or any subdomain, with full branding control. Feedbear offers custom domains from Startup at $49 per month, which caps you at three admins.

  • Slack, Linear, Discord, webhooks, and a REST API. Additionally, an MCP server for AI agents. One integration is included on Starter; Professional includes all of them. Feedbear covers Intercom, Slack, Trello, Jira, and Zapier on their Startup plan and above.

  • Yes, on every paid plan. White-labeling is a standard inclusion rather than an upsell. Feedbear places branding removal on their Business plan at $99 per month. Our view is that branding control should not require a top-tier contract.

  • Thirty seconds from signup to a live board. Pick a workspace name, share the link. No configuration sits between you and the first piece of feedback. If you are migrating from Feedbear, add the import time on top.
