Create Boards
Creating custom boards in UserJot allows you to organize feedback for different aspects of your product or different types of feedback. Here’s how to set up your boards:
1. Head to Settings
- Log in to your UserJot Dashboard
- Navigate to Settings in the main menu
- Select the “Feedback” tab
2. Create a New Board
- In the Feedback settings, locate the “Boards” section
- Click on “Create Board” to create a board
- Enter a simple, descriptive name for your board
3. Choose a Color
- Use the color dropdown to select a color for your board
- Color-coding helps visually distinguish between different boards
Color Suggestions
Consider these color options to make your boards visually distinct:
- Blue: for general or miscellaneous feedback
- Tomato: for critical or urgent issues
- Green: for new ideas or suggestions
- Violet: for user-centric or design-related feedback
- Amber: for technical or system-related issues
- Cyan: for informational or content-related feedback
4. Order Your Boards
- Use the drag handles to reorder your boards
- The order you set here will be reflected in your feedback management interface
Tips for Effective Board Management
- Use clear, concise names for your boards
- Choose contrasting colors for easy differentiation
- Consider creating boards for different product areas or feedback types
- Regularly review and adjust your board structure as needed
- Organize your boards in a logical order to streamline your workflow
